HQ Staff of General Smuts 1917, Major Guards MGR 1918\endash 19; Boer War 1899\endash 1902 (severely wounded, Queen's medal with five clasps) and WW I in France, East Africa and Italy (despatches twice, Legion of Honour (France), Order Leopold); Colonel Commandant on Staff of Military Advisor to Government of Northern Ireland 1922; raised and commanded 28th Battalion Hampshire Home Guard WW II. • Occupation: Justice of the Peace, Counties Leitrim & Hampshire. 1 • Honours: Gold Staff Officer at the Coronation of HM George VI. 1 • Occupation: High Sheriff of Hampshire, 1925. 1 • Occupation: County Councillor, 1922-1931, Hampshire. 1 Morgan married Frances Margaret Irby, daughter of Lt-Col. Leonard Howard Lloyd Irby and Unknown, on 12 Dec 1905.1 (Frances Margaret Irby died on 4 Jan 1950 1.)
